Construction matters are mostly defined by long-lasting projects with a high risk of ending in a formalised dispute.

We handle construction cases from many sectors, in particular energy (e.g. power plants, on- and offshore wind parks), transport infrastructure (e.g. roads, railways, airports), process industries, acquisition of plants and machinery, state infrastructure (e.g. hospitals, embassies), commercial buildings (e.g. offices, retail, hotels), and residential buildings.

We advise employers, contractors, and other industry stakeholders (such as subcontractors, architects, engineers, developers, financing institutions, and public awarding authorities). Our activity spans from advising on the structure of projects and financing, through drafting and negotiating contracts to the procurement process; from advising clients during the construction period through claim management to contentious work in front of, for example, courts of law, adjudicators, dispute boards or arbitral tribunals, including acting as an arbitrator.
