Represented a German defense contractor in a dispute before the German state courts against a U.S. supplier in a CISG litigation, revolving around the cancellation of a contract for the supply of military equipment, for the use of a NATO Member State.
Represented an Austrian investor in a series of litigation proceedings before the German state courts against multiple asset management companies (= general partners of the partnerships in which the client is invested as limited partner), pertaining to the disclosure of information on other limited partners, with a view to improving communication amongst partners.
Advised an Italian airport operator on maintenance claims against a German airline company.
Represented a German fashion manufacturer in multiple parallel proceedings before the German state courts against a distributor revolving around the distribution of clothing in Russia.
Representing a professional athlete from the U.S. in malpractice claims before the German state courts against two German physicians.
CAREER MILESTONES
Prior to joining BODENHEIMER HERZBERG, Dr. Klein held positions, inter alia, with the German Football League in Frankfurt (Germany).
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Dr. Klein holds a Postgraduate Master of Laws, LL.M. from Columbia Law School in New York City (New York) and a doctoral degree from the University of Göttingen (Germany). He is a graduate of the University of Göttingen (Germany).
He also served as an assistant legal researcher to German Federal Constitutional Court Justice Professor Dr Andreas Paulus.
